I have a feeling that my dog is a bit small. I’m not worried about it, I just want to know what the average height is for a female weimaraner, aged 3.
I would look this up by myself but my URL bar and the search bar are not letting me click on them now)
Thanks. I measured her and she’s 21 inches at the shoulder.
The previous poster (with Weim head) is 100% correct. The height matters ONLY if you were thinking of showing her in the breed ring, or considering breeding her. Her height would be a disqualifing fault & therefore (in the best interests of the breed) she should not be used for breeding. If you’d like to enter her in AKC hunt tests, obedience, agility, tracking, or rally she can compete, regardless of size. If she is spayed, she can also compete for WCA shooting dog & retrieving titles.

For Bitches it is 23-25 inches with a 1 inch leeway both ways. So basically 22-26 inches. Yes your dog is an inch too short, but she is just a pet right? So it really doesn’t matter.
Dogs are 25-27 inches with a 1 inch leeway both ways, 24-28.
